SARR HAPPY TAILS
We adopted Sage in 2023 as a tiny little kitten from SARR. She was very shy at first but has since blossomed into an amazing cat! She is full of life, loves to play - especially fetch! & loves to find herself a bed of any size to lounge on. She now has a massive personality which we love! We couldn’t imagine our lives without her & are thankful for her everyday. Thank you SARR for our sassy little torti girl 💛

We adopted Bailee as a senior pet from SARR in 2023 and she was the best thing that ever happened to us! She unfortunately was not in a good way when she was surrendered to SARR but the team got her taken care of including a massive dental procedure! They went above and beyond for her & she loved Jess and Phil so much and even got to go have sleep overs with them when we went on holidays! Bailee has since unfortunately passed on but lived an amazing life with us & taught me so much and I am forever grateful for Jess & Phil adopting her out to me & being blessed with her everyday. We all miss & love you Bailee dog 🐾💛 thank you for being the bestest little ‘rat dawg’

Firstly imagine being just a tiny little kitten, a beautiful little female ginger, found orphaned on a farm with your little black scruffy brother, with the whole world ahead of you and no idea what your future holds.
Thankfully, this tiny little poppet was given a second chance when she was handed in to Jess at Shepparton Animal Rescue & Rehoming (SARR).
Eyela’s journey hasn’t been easy. Painful infections and ulcerations sadly resulted in her losing one of her eyes and even her remaining eye had difficulties in the beginning. But this little girl has shown us that even after a tough start, there is so much love and happiness waiting to be found.
Today, Eyela is safe, adored and thriving. She is incredibly affectionate, gets along beautifully with our other one-eyed ginger baby, Wynx, the Golden Retriever and is determined to befriend our Brittany Spaniel, Spud — who is absolutely terrified of her and our old fella Tank.
Then comes her little sister, Pip, the runt of a very colourful litter who was also a SARR rescue. Both these girls have helped make our family feel whole again after losing our previous cats to old age and one to breast cancer.
A heartfelt thank you to Jess and her amazing team of volunteers at SARR for everything you do for animals who need a helping hand. The love, care and second chances you give these precious souls mean more than you could ever know. Eyela, Pip and all the others animals want to say….. THANKYOU!
If you have a little hole in your family, please consider adopting from a rescue organisation like SARR. Somewhere out there is a little soul waiting for someone to choose them, love them and show them that life can be beautiful.
Every animal deserves a chance. Sometimes, the one you rescue ends up filling your heart in ways you never knew were possible.

Pie originally came into our home as a foster cat through SARR, but somewhere along the way, she decided she was already home! ❤️
After spending so much time with us, we realised just how perfectly she fitted into our family, and we simply couldn’t imagine letting her go. One of the biggest reasons was the beautiful bond she has formed with her brother Terry. The two absolutely adore each other, and seeing them cuddled up together is just the sweetest thing.
Pie has settled into family life so naturally, and it became clear that she was exactly where she was meant to be. So what started as a temporary foster arrangement turned into a forever home. Our beautiful girl became a foster fail, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Pie may have arrived as a foster, but she was always meant to stay. ❤️🐈⬛

🐱💕 Minnow is living her best life with her two favourite little besties! 💕
She is honestly the best cat we could have ever asked for! 🥹❤️
Minnow has such a beautiful, gentle nature and shares the sweetest bond with the children. When her little boy bestie has been unwell or experiencing allergic reactions, she refuses to leave his side. It’s almost like she knows when he needs that little bit of extra love and comfort. 🥹💙
At night, she’s just as loving, curling up in bed with me for cuddles. ❤️
The children absolutely adore her, and the feeling is definitely mutual! She’s adapted so beautifully to life with two crazy, energetic two-year-olds who absolutely love giving her attention, cuddles and plenty of entertainment! 😂💕
Of course, she also gets some well-deserved peace and quiet while we’re at work and daycare! 😂🐾
Minnow really is one special little girl, and we couldn’t imagine our family without her. She’s not just our cat; she’s part of the family, a little best friend and the sweetest companion to my two little humans. 🐱❤️💕
